As the ever-changing health care regulations continue to mandate our services, First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon has taken the initiative to provide our community with options. First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon offers two alternative transport methods.
The wheelchair van transport offers any medical related transportation needs to be completed by the means of a wheelchair van. A patient will be transported from a health care facility or residence to a medically related appointment. This is intended for the patient who is unable to ambulate and/or is wheelchair bound. This service is a private pay and will not be covered by insurance.
The recumbent van transport offers any medical related transportation needs to be completed by allowing the patient to lie supine during transport. A patient will be transported from a health care facility or residence to a medically related appointment. This is intended for the patient who is bed bound with no medical necessity requiring medical care during transport. This service is a private pay and will not be covered by insurance.
