First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon owns and operates fifteen (15) ambulances. Our most recent purchase of ambulances came in August of 2005. At that time First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon purchased four (4) new Medix ambulances configured on Freightliner Sprinter chassis.
This purchase marked the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th box type ambulances manufactured on the Sprinter chassis. First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon’s Management Team was a large part of the design process for Medix’s Sprinter Type III project. A large portion of our design and specification ideas and requests are now a standard on the Medix Sprinter Type III ambulance. To date (March 1, 2006) each of these ambulances have approximately 15,000 mile each and we have experienced no mechanical problems. The only maintenance performed on these units has been the manufacture’s recommended preventative maintenance.
First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon maintains a large cache of Basic Life Support level equipment. All of our Basic Life Support units, while in service, are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment such as automated external defibrillators (AED’s), epinephrine auto injectors (Epi Pens), pulse oximeters, and DriveCam (a digital and audio recording device trained on the roadway to capture vehicular events).
