First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon employees are also very civic minded. They are active or have been represented in various community organizations such as the Community of Lebanon Association, Lebanon Lions Club and the American Cancer Society.

Crews Work To Evacuate VA Hospital

Date: 07/22/2010
First Aid and Safety Patrol crews worked throughout the past twenty four hours to evacuate the patients at the VA Medical Center in South Lebanon Township, Lebanon County. Over 80 patients were evacuated to hospitals throughout the Commonwealth and Delaware. The South Central Task Force EMS Strike Teams were activated and responded to assist the local resources. Ambulance services from Lancaster, Dauphin, Cumberland, York, Adams, Franklin and Perry Counties provided Basic and Advanced Life Support and wheelchair services. At 18:00 hours on the 22nd the demobilization was completed. Resources will remain available through First Aid and Safety Patrol to assist the VA with the transfer of patients who walk in to the Emergency Department.
